Evensong for the

To mark the end of the liturgical year, the Cathedral Choir will offer a service of Choral Evensong for the Feast of Christ the King. Music will include the Preces and Responses by Richard Ayleward, the Evening Service in Eb, No. 2, by Charles Wood (published posthumously in 1927), and the anthem Leaf from Leaf Christ Knows, by Judith Weir (Master of the King’s Music from 2014-2022 — the first woman to hold this office) from a text by Christina Rosetti. Please join us for what many consider to be one of the most transcendent musical experiences.
