Holly Sheppard

Holly Sheppard, alto/mezzo-soprano based in Phoenix, Arizona, is acclaimed for her rich, expressive tone and artistry. A long-time member of the Grammy-winning Phoenix Chorale, Holly has performed with the ensemble since 2006, contributing to its national tours, recordings, and critical acclaim. She is also a member of Helios: A Modern Renaissance, a Phoenix-based early music ensemble that brings rarely heard Renaissance and Baroque works to life with vibrant clarity. Equally at home on the operatic stage and in sacred concert settings, Holly has appeared as Sesto in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito at the Trentino Music Festival in Italy, and covered the role of Mercedes in Carmen with Arizona Opera. As a soloist, she has recently been featured in Bach’s Complete Messiah, Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, and annual holiday performances with ensembles including The Arts at Ascension and the Scottsdale Philharmonic. In addition to her musical career, Holly is an accomplished 3D artist and motion designer. She currently works as a Senior World Builder at the video game studio 31st Union, where she helps craft immersive virtual environments. She lives in Mesa with her husband and two charming birds, Pico and Olive.
