History

Music at Trinity was founded in 2010 by the cathedral’s Canon Musician, Erik Goldstrom, and forms the musical outreach arm of Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona. Music at Trinity sponsors a wide range of artists and musical programs in performance at the cathedral for the benefit of the greater Phoenix community. Artists range from internationally-recognized performers to fantastic local talent; well-established groups to newly-formed ensembles that hold great promise. Musical offerings range from organ concerts and chamber music to the very popular Festival of Lessons and Carols for Christmastide and regular services of Choral Evensong.

Music at Trinity continues to broaden and deepen its presence in the Phoenix arts community. In 2021, we commissioned three new works from a diverse gathering of composers in celebration of Trinity Cathedral’s centenary, and we have recently added a World Music component to our yearly offering.  We hope you will take advantage of the wide range of creative offerings we support each year!
