Important Notice Concerning
Music At Trinity 2018-2019 Concert Series

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, three of the six divisions of the Trinity Cathedral organ failed. The cause was found to be the organ control system (computer processor), which transmits information from the organ console to each of the organ’s six divisions. This computer malfunction is a symptom of a larger, inherent problem with the control system that was originally installed in the cathedral organ in 2005. Currently, only three of the smaller divisions are working and reliable.

Because of this unfortunate situation, we have been forced to cancel all remaining Music at Trinity concerts that involve the cathedral organ. These are:

January 20 | The Helen Peel Memorial Concert Featuring Janette Fishell
March 15 ~ April 12 | The Friday Lenten Organ Series (all five concerts)
March 31 | The St. John Passion of Bob Chilcott
May 12 | Oliver Brett

We deeply regret any inconvenience from these cancellations; it is fair neither to the performers nor our audiences to continue with this portion of our series given the uncertainty of the instrument.

The remainder of the 2018-2019 Music at Trinity Concert Series remains intact:

February 10 | Helios
February 12 | Phoenix Chorale Lecture
March 19 | Phoenix Chorale Lecture
May 5 | Urban Nocturnes
May 26 | Choral Evensong

All concerts will include post-performance receptions.

Thank you for your understanding.
