Olga Gorelik | Pianist

Belorussian-born pianist Olga Gorelik maintains an active international career as a solo and chamber musician, while serving as a devoted mentor to her students. Ms.Gorelik completed her formal studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) with Paul Schenly, Margarita Shevchenko and Sergei Babayan (BM, MM, and Artist Diploma). While living in Cleveland, Ms.Gorelik performed Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto with the CIM orchestra, appeared at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the WCLV 104.9 Cleveland Classical Radio.

Chamber music has been a significant part of Ms.Gorelik’s education and performance career. As a member of Klimt trio, she took a Silver medal at the 2007 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition as well as the Alice Coleman/Coleman Barstow Prize at the Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition. Since graduating cum laude from CIM, her most recent career highlights include a series of collaborative recitals throughout the US and the UK, including appearances in Chicago, Cleveland, Edinburgh, St.Andrew’s, and London.

Ms. Gorelik is an active member of the Phoenix Music Teacher’s Association (PMTA) and served as a co-chair for the PMTA Fall Festival. In the summer of 2015 she was invited to join the piano and the chamber music faculty at the Luzerne Music Center in upstate NY.
